Hair "Net" into Curly Ponies

Today I started with a front net. And yes, I realize I didn't do this net the typical way. I was sorta figuring things out as I went. But there ya have it. So, I divided out the front section of hair to make six small ponies across the front.

Once the first 6 ponies are made, I use the second parted off section and "net" the first 6 ponies into the next 4 ponies (see below).

Finally, I just took those four ponies and turned them into the final two large ponies in the back.

Then we curled the back of her hair with a dinosaur curling iron (I don't think I've used this thing in 15 years!!!!).

Her hair was still a little wet and it was also very muggy and rainy outside today, but you get the idea on how it was supposed to look.

And let me just say FOR THE RECORD that Jenn over at Girly Dos must be a hair goddess to pull THIS full head net "do" off. I don't think I'll be trying that one any time soon. Be sure to check it out when you have time (and you'll also see a "net" tutorial link there, as well). http://girlydos.blogspot.com/2008/08/got-time.html Have fun!

Thanks for visiting my new blog! I love your ideas and I can't wait to watch your french braid tutorial and see if I can figure that one out. That is the one thing I have always wanted to know but have NEVER learned! Isn't that crazy? If it's alright, I would love to link to your blog from mine. Gotta share the love, right?
