After-braid Twists
After Brayla's hair is up in braids for a day, the following day it's always extremely fluffy. She calls it "funny hair" and prances around enjoying the feel of it bouncing. So I like to just pull the front of her hair out of her face and let her enjoy a day of having her hair mostly down.
Today I did what some call twists in cornrow-style. I simply divided off the front section of her hair, then divided that into three rows. Then you twist, twist, twist the hair starting in the center. Once it begins getting tight, you'll lay the row down and clip it. In the pictures you'll see I banded it, but I'd suggest using little clippies to ensure they won't come undone.
